It’s been almost a decade since K and I travelled anywhere, mostly because we’ve been reluctant to leave our rabbits in the care of others. It must’ve been in the pre-COVID era since our last trip; back then, we were able to find a rabbit-savvy sitter who would do daily house visits. This time around, we found a rabbit boarder nearby we were comfortable with, so now off we go!

We’re stopping by Austin to visit some of K’s friends, then driving down to Houston to visit my side of the family. Just our luck, of course, but we’re about to get the full H-Town experience – Tropical Storm Beryl is expected to hit landfall Monday.
