Week Notes W06-25
Since I’ve been journaling almost daily on my newly acquired Supernote Nomad, I figure it’s a good chance to start publishing more often. Here’s a weekly glimpse of what I’ve been up to last week:
- I finished season one of Re: Zero and I’m well underway through the second season.
- We took all our rabbits in for their annual wellness check. We got blood work for all three; Xiaohei may need dental work and we’re trying a different antibiotic for Moe. If Moe’s chronic snuffles don’t improve, the vet recommends bringing him in for a specialist opinion, which would mean a drive down to Santa Cruz. Ging Ging’s doing okay, but we’re watching her for diarrhea.
- I made Hong Kong style clay pot rice bowls for dinner again using a modified version of this recipe. We made it with shiitake mushrooms, Chinese sausage, and Chinese bacon. Well, K’s bowl had bacon and sausage, I only wanted sausage. I think I’m getting the hang of it; I’ll try not to burn the rice as much next time.
- Started building my second ZZZ team; my first is basically the F2P Cunning Hares (Billy, Anby, Nicole). I usually stick with the starter units as long as possible, at least until I learn the system details. For my next team, I think I’ll build Soldier 11, Ben, and Lucy.
- Spent some time refining my window manager of choice for Windows, Whim, and plugging it into my chezmoi managed config. Maybe someday I’ll publish it.
These notes were handwritten on the Nomad. I sync them over, extract the OCR’d text, and then edit them for publishing in my org-hugo website workflow. Over time, I’ll see about refining this process.
