Another busy week finished, and we’re rewarded with a long weekend. This week:

• For Valentine’s Day dinner, K and I went to one of our favorite local Chinese restaurants and splurged. We have leftovers for days.
• I started configuring our home’s Home Assistant instance to work better with Assist and voice control. I’m still not used to speaking to my devices; there’s something unnatural about phrasing sentences to work well for computers. So far, it does pretty well for basic commands like controlling fans and window covers.
• I finished Re:Zero season two. I like the series but I’ll pause and wait for season 3 to finish airing before resuming. Hopefully, I won’t forget everything by then.
• Otherwise, this past week was a fairly uneventful and busy work week. Oh, we had a nice few days of rain, which unfortunately led to a minor ant invasion; nothing ant bait couldn’t handle.
