Things are mostly getting back to normal. This week:

• We took Xiaohei and Moe in for their recheck appointment with the eye specialists. Moe’s eyes and cataracts are stable, but Xiaohei’s eye pressure was so high the instrument reading maxed out. The vet still recommends the current plan with eye drops and does not recommend surgery; we just have to do a better job at making sure he doesn’t squirm or shake out the drops.
• K has this habit of stockpiling a ton of snacks, enough so that there are boxes all throughout the house with her hidden stash. When I say stockpile, I mean the recent haul was like two Costco bins of sweet potato snacks. Of course, someone has to help eat all this up; no wonder I’m not losing any weight,
• I’m so behind on my gaming backlog. I’m staying away from Monster Hunter Wilds since I know that’ll be a time sink, based on my past experience with pretty much all the other MH games. I’ll probably pick it up in the future. In the meantime, I’m trying to run through the ZZZ Patch 1.5 content; I’ve been saving up for Anby alter in 1.6, so we’ll see how that goes.
• I’m well into season two of Bungo Stray Dogs. I’m liking this series so far. K seems to have fallen down the cute dog video YouTube vortex.
